Refund & Cancellation Policy

CaptionCast is sold as one-time credit packs of captioning minutes — no subscription, no recurring charges. We want every customer to be satisfied. This page explains how refunds work.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with CaptionCast for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your first credit-pack purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. This applies to your first pack purchase only.

No Cancellation Needed

Because credit packs are one-time purchases, there is no subscription to cancel and you will never be charged automatically. Minutes you have purchased never expire, and your meetings and transcripts remain accessible as long as your account is open.

If your account was opened before the credit-pack model and is still on a legacy monthly subscription, you may cancel at any time from the Billing page or by emailing support@captioncast.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your meetings and transcripts remain accessible afterward.

Refunds After 14 Days

After the 14-day guarantee period, pack purchases are generally non-refundable, including partially used packs. However, if you believe you were charged in error, or if you experienced a significant service outage that affected an event, please contact us. We review these requests on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to make it right.

Disputes

If you have a billing dispute, please contact us at support@captioncast.io before filing a chargeback with your bank. We respond to all billing inquiries within one business day and are committed to resolving issues quickly.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is being resolved.
